BOTOX®
BOTOX® has surpassed Viagra as the most recognized name of any medication. BOTOX® is a highly
purified protein that helps relax the muscles that can cause facial wrinkles. It has been used in humans for
various indications since the 1980's. BOTOX® works best for wrinkles that are made with muscle movement, and not
deep wrinkles that are present without muscle activity. As a member of the BOTOX® and Juvederm™
National Education Faculty, Dr. McCracken has been selected by the manufacturer to train other doctors to administer BOTOX®.
After a consultation to determine your goals, Dr. McCracken can administer BOTOX® via several tiny injections with
minimal discomfort. The most common areas are the glabella (vertical lines between the eyebrows), the lines radiating
from the outside corners of the eyes ("crow's feet"), and the horizontal forehead lines. The effects last 3 to 4 months,
and then your face will return to its original appearance.

MicroLaserPeel™
Are you looking for smoother, healthier, more vibrant skin with more even tone?
Treat yourself to a MircoLaserPeel, a step above microdermabrasion. A
MircoLaserPeel will remove the outermost layer of your skin (deeper than
microdermabrasion) to give you a refreshed appearance. Dr McCracken uses an air
cooling device to keep any discomfort during the procedure to a minimum. The healing
process takes several days, and you can usually return to work on Monday after a
MircoLaserPeel done on Friday. Patients often receive a series of 4 treatments.

PhotoRejuvenation
Are you bothered by fine wrinkles, age and sun spots, small facial veins, or
other blemishes? PhotoRejuvenation treatments offer a quick solution to these
problems with no downtime and with minimal discomfort. You may be slightly red
after the procedure. Patients often receive a series of four treatments.

LunchTime Laser (Collagen Stimulation)
The LunchTime Laser offers gradual collagen stimulation for non-invasive skin tightening
and treatment of acne scars. The treatment gently warms the collagen below the surface
of the skin to cause tighnening over a six month period. There is no downtime, and you
can return to work immediately. Patients often receive a series of four treatments.

Laser Hair Reduction
The 1064 nanometer laser and the PhotoRejuvenation handpiece offer two alternatives
for laser hair reduction. The Sciton system offers effective hair reduction with no
downtime and minimal discomfort. Patients often receive a series of four treatments.

Laser Resurfacing
Aging, gravity, and repeated sun exposure cause lines and wrinkles in the skin.
Laser resurfacing replaces the damaged, wrinkled skin with new, fresh skin. During the process,
the superficial skin layer is heated in a controlled fashion. This skin then sloughs away, and
is replaced in about a week with fresh skin.
Laser resurfacing may be performed on the entire face, or on the area around the eyes or mouth.
The procedure takes about 30 minutes, and it is performed under local or general anesthesia,
either in the office or in an outpatient surgery center. Afterward, you will use ointment and soaks
for five to seven days while your skin is healing. Discomfort is generally mild and is usually
controlled with Tylenol or a prescription pain reliever. Some patients liken the
feeling to that of a sunburn.

Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery)
Your eyes are often the first feature that people notice when looking at you. Over time,
the eyelid skin stretches and the fat around the eyes bulges forward. As a result,
you many notice a droopy, tired, or older appearance.
During blepharoplasty, Dr. McCracken removes skin and / or fat from the upper and
lower eyelids to restore a more youthful appearance. This is accomplished through small incisions,
which are hidden in the upper lid crease and either the inside of the lower lid or just below the
lower lid lashes. Fine sutures are used to close the skin incisions. Dr. McCracken is subspecialty
trained in surgery around the eyes and places the highest priority on giving you a natural
appearance after surgery.
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and takes about an hour. Afterward, you
will use ice compresses for the first several days and antibiotic ointment for about a week.
Discomfort is generally very mild and is usually controlled with Tylenol.
Blepharoplasty may be performed with laser resurfacing of the eyelid skin, eyebrow
lifting, or cheek lifting.

Brow Lift
Along with droopy eyelids, many patients experience droopiness of the eyelids.
This may give you a sad, angry, or tired appearance.
A brow lift may be performed either instead of or in addition to blepharoplasty surgery.
There are several approaches to lifting the brows, but the most common involves small
incisions hidden in the hairline. Dr. McCracken is subspecialty trained in surgery around
the eyes and places the highest priority on giving you a natural appearance after surgery.
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and takes about an hour. Afterward,
you will use ice compresses for the first several days and antibiotic ointment for about a week.
Discomfort is generally mild and is usually controlled with Tylenol or a prescription pain reliever.

Cheek Lift
Lower lid bagginess is often worsened by droopiness of the tissue that lies over the cheek.
A cheek lift may be combined with blepharoplasty surgery. It is most commonly performed through an
incision in the inside part of the lower eyelid, with small incisions in the outer corner of
the eye ("crow's feet").
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and takes about an hour. Afterward, you will
use ice compresses for the first several days and antibiotic ointment for about a week. Discomfort
is generally mild and is usually controlled with Tylenol or a prescription pain reliever.
