Michael McCracken, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist and one of less than 500 members of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery nationwide. He limits his surgery to his field of expertise, the area around the eyes.

After an internship at Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Hospital, he completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago and an oculoplastic surgery fellowship at the University of California San Diego.

Dr. McCracken performs functional surgery of the eyelid, orbit, and lacrimal system. He also performs BOTOX® injections, collagen injections, Restylane® injections, chemical peels, laser resurfacing, laser hair removal, laser vein treatment, and cosmetic surgery of the eyelids, eyebrows, and midface.

Dr. McCracken has published several articles, and has written multiple textbook chapters on the eyelids and cosmetic procdures. He has lectured on oculoplastic surgery and he teaches annually at the American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting.

Dr. McCracken is a preceptor for the ophthalmology interns at Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Hospital and recently received an award for his teaching of the ophthalmology residents at the University of Colorado. Dr. McCracken offers free consultations.
